Show is still on! The nice thing about the hurricane is that it means clear skies all weekend after all that tropical moisture leaves the area. We are keeping those folks in the panhandle and across Georgia in our thoughts and prayers that the storm spares them the worst damage.

  1. Nicole says:

Hello, I’m trying to get a good sense of the schedule of events. My husband is really interested in seeing the F-22 demo. Wondering if is better for us to arrive closer to noon or earlier? Do you know when a schedule of events will be posted?

    Thanks

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Nicole, we generally aren’t able to publish a more specific schedule beyond the “noon to four” window because the schedule will be dependent on the Air Boss’s order. However, we do tend to post the order of events about 1-2 weeks before the show, which we’ll announce on our Facebook page, so stay tuned there!

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Dike, unless otherwise noted on their individual pages, all performers will be there on both days! The schedule is fairly similar so that if guests cannot make it one day, they don’t miss anything big.

  2. ATL Air Show says:

Hey Adam, we scheduled our show for the same weekend that we always have a year in advance. None of the performers are the same between the two shows.

  3. Steve Winfield says:

I am a former Navy Avionics Tech 2nd Class. I served in an EA-6B Squadron, VAQ-138, & spent 24 months on the USS John F. Kennedy in 1980, 81, & 82. I’ve seen a few air shows in my day but I’m super excited to watch these F-16s show their stuff. The EA-6B Prowler has since been replaced by the EA-16 Growler & now has air-to-ground missile capabilities.

  4. ATL Air Show says:

We’ll have static aircraft in the parking lot of Atlanta Motor Speedway. There will also be re-entry into the stands so you can go in and out of the stadium to see the statics and go back to your seats.
