  1. Jim says:

I have never attended this airshow and I am a photographer. Do you have an area set up for photographers? If not, is the rooftop the best location, (I would assume)for photography? Any limitations in regards to tripods / equipment?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Yes, the rooftop provides some fantastic shots! There is not a designated photo pit area, however, photography equipment is allowed in both the general admission (stadium seating) and VIP areas. 🙂 However, please bring all your equipment with you (camera bags are allowed, but will be searched at the gate), as there is no readmission once you are let in the gate.

  2. Charlie says:

Thank you in advance. Our son is in a wheelchair, is there an elevator to the roof area??
    Thank you, Charlie

    • ATL Air Show says:

No, there is no reentry into the show. You will need to stay for the duration of the show, then return to your car or camper at the end.

  3. GREGORY S AGEN says:

You said you will be announcing veterans pricing discounts. So what happened if I buy the Sky box now, and your veteran pricing is cheaper later?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Yes, Active Duty/Reserve military and guard can save 50% at the gate with discounted military grandstand pricing (general tickets) of $15 for adults and $8 for children 7-12 on up to four tickets per service member. To qualify for the discount, please present your military or veteran ID at the ticket window. In addition, active duty/reserve and guard attending in uniform will be admitted for free! Discounts are currently only available for general seating, but we’ll let you know if that changes and applies to Sky Box tickets as well.

    • ATL Air Show says:

The Skybox could handle 600 or more – it’s up at the Turn One Club, so there’s a huge amount of seating and viewing areas.

  4. Thomas says:

Why does it take the actual purchase of tickets to find out that these tickets are non-refundable? This should be an advance notice, especially when purchasing VIP tickets!

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Thomas, sorry if that was unclear – we do mention it in a couple other places across the website, but I’ll talk with our tech team about adding it in a few more so that it’s very clear to our guests!

  5. D'Ann says:

We want to bring my father, who is elderly and uses a walker. Is there an elevator to the roof viewing?

Are there discounts for retired air force veterans? We plan to get skybox seating

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi D’Ann, yes, our Skybox has elevators all the way up to the roof, so you will be just fine helping your dad get up there. It’s seriously the coolest view! We’ll be announcing the information about military and veterans’ discounts as we move closer to the show. Be sure to follow our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information on the show!

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Mark, we’ll be announcing the information about military and veterans’ discounts as we move closer to the show. We were in the process of removing 2018 show comments, so it was an old link. Also, be sure to follow our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information on the show!

  6. Dave says:

Can you see up into the sky from the skybox (i.e. from behind the glass), or better to just plan to watch from the viewing platform? Are the Skybox seats reserved?

    • ATL Air Show says:

The Skybox is located at the Turn One skybox area, so there is a ton of open seating. You can choose to watch it directly from your seats through the glass, or go out onto the roof, both of which have great views. From the rooftop, you have a 360 degree view, which is pretty spectacular, but the glass viewing area is also quite nice.
