  2. Army Staff Sergeant says:

What will happen if the show will not happen due to weather on Sunday? Will we be refunded? Or will you just pocket the profit?

      • Army Staff Sergeant says:

Yes, I read that. Under the question in the FAQ, it stated if it is canceled in its entirety on Saturday then tickets will be honored on Sunday. If it’s canceled in its entirety for the weekend then tickets will be refunded or honored in 2020. You state nothing on Sunday only canceling happenings but I assume if it is canceled in its entirety on Sunday that we can have our tickets honored next year. However, everything says in its entirety. So if we see one plane fly over or only see one event, it wasn’t a total cancellation and We got our money’s worth? Doesn’t seem right to me but ok, you just making your money.

        • Concerned says:

I would also like to know this information. If the event is canceled or shortened due to weather, I certainly hope we do not get the short end of the stick. We are all paying a lot of money and taking time to go see this event.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi there, please call our box office at 877.766.8158 and they’d be happy to issue you an additional parking pass.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Laura, there is not a senior discount, but tickets are still on sale for 25% off if you purchase tonight before midnight online.

  6. Keith Moses says:

It has been stated that coolers or outside food and drink are NOT allowed and that this is due to the policy of the venue. However I regularly attend events at AMS and I bring a cooler nearly every time. Furthermore a quick check of the AMS website under their FAQ section clearly states that both coolers and outside food and beverages ARE allowed. Including alcohol. So is this a policy of the Air Show or is this a mistake and they actually are permitted?

      • Keith Moses says:

So that’s how this site is run… I catch the moderator of this FAQ thread lying to patrons and call you out on it. But rather than respond you just delete the post? As well as the replys to others that were lied to. The food and beverage policy is YOURS! Not the policy of AMS as has been stated. It also is not a security issue. As you are more than willing to allow backpacks as long as they’re inspected. Coolers could just as easily be inspected. This is purely about not allowing people to bring anything so they have to buy overpriced food from your vendors. Which is fine, that’s your right. Just tell people that. Don’t lie to patrons about who’s policy it is. I wonder how long it will take to delete this repl………..

  7. Monica Narea says:

Will we get refunded if it rains on Sunday and the event gets cancelled? I got the email about being able to go on Saturday but we cannot make it Saturday

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Monica, so the show on Sunday isn’t cancelled, we’re simply making the offer available for any guests who are concerned to attend on Saturday if they’d like. The Sunday show is still on, so we do recommend still attending! There are no refunds.

  8. Phil says:

I understand that Skybox tickets usually sell out ahead of time. But, I am not sure if I can attend. So, if they are available, may we buy on Saturday at the venue?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Phil, so unfortunately, the VIP area for Saturday is completely sold out, so no one is able to buy onsite (or online) at this time.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Yes, a tripod is just fine! We just ask that you please be courteous to guests around you, and if a volunteer or security person asks you to shift locations, that you comply.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Sebastian, your best bet is to take a ride share – it’s very affordable from any of the area around Atlanta Motor Speedway.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Jonathan, for safety reasons there is no viewing from the parking area. Parking is free, but you do need a ticket to get into the parking area.

  9. Chris says:

Does the prohibition of drinks include bringing water as well? And does the prohibition of food include small snacks like trail mix bars for our kids?

    Thanks.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Chris, 1L of water per person is fine. No other outside food or beverage is allowed, but there will be snacks for sale in the stadium.

I am a Veteran with my “Dog Tags” and Honorable discharge papers.
Does that quality for the military discount?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Don, I believe that you do need to have some form of veteran ID – so if you’ve got the seal on your driver’s license, or any type of ID or form issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Absolutely! There are ramps up into the stadium itself, but you may still then need to carry the stroller up the stairs to get to the seats of your choice.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Naomi, there is no outside food or beverage allowed besides 1L of water per person, which is Atlanta Motor Speedway regulations. The show runs noon to 3 pm, so you should be okay to eat ahead of time.

The no outside food or drink policy is set by the venue, but we do our best to work with the guests to accommodate. Our customer service team reached out directly to speak with the guest who posted this to further figure out a good working solution for them and their family!

    • ATL Air Show says:

We will be broadcasting the audio for the show at the stadium, so there is no need for a scanner of any sort.

  12. Alex f says:

I want to be able to talk to some air national guard men or women to just ask some questions will i be able to talk to some of them or will i only be able to talk to other members of the croud

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Donna, there is handicap seating available via a ramp up into the stadium, with companion seats, so that you can sit together in our general admission area. I’d recommend going with that level.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Dan, it will be posted in the next few days as any final performers are added to the line-up and we get the clearance from the Air Boss and the FAA – stay tuned to our Facebook page for when it goes live!

  14. TD Johnson says:

Your answer regarding Military discounts requires better clarity. Your answer states Active Duty and Reserve member tickets are discounted. Does this include VETERANS and RETIRED military with an I.D. as well? Please reply.
