While most aerobatic performers have one basic program, Kent Pietsch performs three different acts that leave spectators mesmerized. The most dramatic is a performance where he begins by turning the engine off at 6,000 feet in altitude then ends with a rooftop landing on a moving truck! The most well known is Kent's comedy act where he detaches a wing flap during flight and makes a mesmerizing wingtip-scraping pass down the runway that you must see to believe. The Vought F4U Corsair was designed originally as a carrier-based fighter that saw service primarily during World War II and the Korean War.
