  1. Amish says:

There is now an 80% chance of rain predicted. Will u atleast inform people if the show is cancelled ?
I paid for 6 flight line tickets. This is hard earned money what do u mean by no refunds ??
It is a 90min drive one way for us.
    When will u make a decision ??

  2. Sharon Pine says:

VIP parking instructions are SO screwed up. Online says one thing and people at the site directions are another

    • ATL Air Show says:

We’re sorry that it was confusing – there are times where we may need to alter directions at the show due to certain security perimeters. Thanks for bearing with us and following the directions on site.

  3. Melissa says:

I have tix for Sunday. Just recieved an email that I could come saturday because of questionable weather.i am not able to attend saturday. What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate? Will refunds be given?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Melissa, so the show on Sunday isn’t cancelled, we’re simply making the offer available for any guests who are concerned to attend on Saturday if they’d like. The Sunday show is still on, so we do recommend still attending! There are no refunds.

      • Melissa says:

Planning to come on Sunday but there is no language on the site that states the tickets are nonrefundable. Hopefully it is not an issue.

      • Michael Lewin says:

I didn’t notice that the tickets are non-refundable until after I made the purchase. That information should have been displayed more prominently.

So basically, my hard-working family just gave you $180 for nothing, as we also purchased tickets for Sunday and cannot come on Saturday (family members are actually flying in on Saturday evening).

Also, there should be some system to let your customers know whether the event will be cancelled.

        • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Michael, the show on Sunday is still on. We simply made an offer to our Sunday guests to come out on Saturday if they are concerned about the weather! We encourage you all to still come on Sunday, as the show is still scheduled.

        • ATL Air Show says:

Typically tickets are good for one-day only; however, we are allowing Sunday guests for the Preferred Seating and the Grandstand (General Admission) seating to attend today if they would like with their Sunday pass.

  4. Alyx says:

Hello! I’m trying to plan my trip to the air show, but I was wondering if dogs are allowed at the event? Thank you for your help!

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Alyx – no dogs allowed – an air show is not a conducive environment for our four-legged friends. Thank you for checking before bringing your dog along!

  5. Don says:

1-Is total access to show and grandstands allowed if we pay for the Premium Turn One RV Camping?
2-How many people per RV are included in the camping fee?
3-Is a second car allowed to park with motorhome for the weekend?
4-Can we leave and return at will (24/7) with this second car for grocery runs, going home to feed pets, etc.?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Don, yes to questions 1 and 4. Customers are allowed one personal vehicle (besides the RV) with which they can come and go. On question 2, customers are allowed up to 2 additional guests in addition to their original camping party to come and watch the show.

  6. Kenny O'Dell says:

What time will the Thunderbirds perform? I’m flying into Atlanta for the show, and need to pick the best time to fly back home after it is over. When will the show complete, and approximately how long will it take to get to the airport?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Kenny, the air show runs from noon to about 3/3:30 pm, with the Thunderbirds ending the show. Traffic does take 60-90 minutes to clear out after the show, so if you are flying into and out of Atlanta International Airport, make sure to factor in that time.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Yes, there will be helicopter rides available for purchase shortly. Stay tuned to your email and our Facebook page for updates when those sales go live!

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Cathye, I sent you an email and CCed our Box Office Support team, who will be happy to get those reissued to you. Occasionally the tickets get caught up in a spam filter somewhere, but it’s easy for us to just get those out to you again. Thanks for letting us know so we could fix it for you!

  7. Melissa says:

Are there any shuttles planned to run outside of the speedway to being you in from downtown or at least outside of race track?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Melissa, because parking at the Speedway is so plentiful, there is not a shuttle from outside the Speedway that brings guests in, as we have ample space for guests.

  8. Kevin Holmes says:

My father in law is in a power wheel chair if we get a sky box and have roof access is there a elevator for him to get to the roof. Is there a elevator for him to get to the sky box and if so can he see from the top where the tables are

    • ATL Air Show says:

There is not a specific photographer pass – there’s great views through out the Atlanta Motor Speedway, or for the optimal experience, consider doing the Flight Line VIP Club located at Turn One, which provides rooftop access to the show.

  9. Dave Niebes says:

am making plans to attend. wondering about different dynamic since airshow performers are flying over race track and not available on adjacent flight line for viewing and ground ops before/after show. will T-birds/Snowbirds base out of race track airfield?

    • ATL Air Show says:

The planes are based out of the nearby military base, so will not be flying up out of the stadium, but will be doing the show over the stadium. A couple of our smaller plane acts do take off and land from inside the raceway. We also have helicopters on display.

  10. David John Burud says:

    Questions:
    1. will the Hampton Airport allow private aircraft to fly in Saturday morning prior to the start of the airshow…and will there be ramp parking space available?
    2. Would I be able to coordinate transportation (golf cart?) of elderly from airfield to grandstands ? even if at a cost
    3. for the VIP Skybox tickets – are folding chairs allowed to be brought to roof deck for seating (elderly)
    4. Are the tickets assigned to a specific suite? or can you go to any of the suites along entire length of grand stand

    • ATL Air Show says:

Yes, the Hampton Airport will be allowing aircraft in and out on Saturday, but you will need to contact them regarding any potential TFRs. The airport where the planes take off is a decent distance from the Atlanta Motor Speedway – your best bet for elderly guests coming in via plane is to rent a car, then come and park in the handicap lot. We unfortunately cannot accommodate folding chairs up on the roof of the VIP Skybox, but you could have them bring a walker with a seat. However the views are spectacular from anywhere in the Skybox seating as well, and there is an elevator that takes guests up to the roof. The Skybox seats are in a specific suite, to which you will be directed.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Your best bet would be any of the large hotel chains in the Hampton, GA area – they are all quite nice and a reasonable distance from the Atlanta Motor Speedway by car or by ride-sharing (like Uber or Lyft).

    • ATL Air Show says:

The show is the same both days for the most part. It is Saturday and Sunday, so guests have their pick of which day works best for them!
