Hi Bonnie, the parking permit is one of the attachments included with your ticket package – the PDF that you received.

  1. Alexx LeVasseur says:

I saw it stated that 1L of water is acceptable to bring in. Can it be brought in inside a metal thermos/drinking water bottle or must it be in clear plastic?

    • ATL Air Show says:

We prefer clear plastic for security purposes. Security recommends an unopened water bottle purchased from a store.

  2. Tifney says:

I have 10 month old twins. Is there covered seat besides the skybox? We are a family of 7 and want to sit together. I would have a double stroller with me as well. Is this doable?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Tifney, the stadium is covered, so you’ll just want to sit high enough in the bleachers out of the sun. You should be fine. A double stroller is doable, but there are stairs, so you will likely want to ensure you have a couple adults to help you get the stroller up them.

  3. Amy says:

Will it be easy to find the separate vip entrance? I thought I read somewhere we’re supposed to take a different road?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Directions are on your VIP parking pass that you received with your tickets. There will also be signage on site to follow.

  4. Ryan Baade says:

I purchased 8 preferred tickets for family so we could all sit together but was not told I would only get 1 VIP parking pass. we obviously cannot get 8 people into one vehicle. What are we supposed to do?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Vince, you will receive a special parking pass via the email you used for purchasing your tickets that will be used to access the preferred parking area. Please feel free to reach out to our box office by telephone at 877.766.8158 if you have any questions!

    • ATL Air Show says:

There is no outside food or beverage allowed besides 1L of water per person. There will be food vendors on site.

  5. Glen Cochran says:

I’d like to buy my tickets now for preferred seating, but I also want to take advantage of the Veteran discount. Can I do that online or do I have to wait and do it in person?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Glen, you will need to purchase the tickets with valid military or veterans ID at the gate to receive the discount.

      • Larkisha Grant says:

My husband is currently on orders for the USAF I have a military ID I wanted to bring our kids to the show How do I purchase military discounted tickets 3 Adults 4 kids

        • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Larkisha, as long as you have your military ID, just follow the instructions mentioned in our FAQ page, question 1 under the “Ticketing” section about veteran and military discount. You do need to purchase on-site.

  6. Evelyn says:

I have a digital camera body & it takes multiple types of lenses &:I didn’t know if I could bring that type of camera inside with me??

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Evelyn, absolutely fine – your bag will be subject to search at the gate, but lens and camera equipment are good. We do simply ask that you be courteous to other guests around you, and if a volunteer or security member asks you to scoot positions, that you do.

  7. Ken Thomas says:

Are there veteran discounts for VIP seating? We did the VIP seating last year and was very grateful for the air conditioning (at our age). Great experience which is why we are coming back.

    Thanks.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Ken, as mentioned on our FAQ page question 1 under “ticketing”, we do have grandstand seating tickets for discounted prices for veterans, but this does not include the Skybox seating. Thanks for asking!

      • Ken Thomas says:

I had read your FAQ and since it didn’t mention Skybox seating, I thought I would ask just to make sure. Thanks.

  8. Katie says:

Is the venue stroller friendly, or is a structured body carrier recommended? We will have a 3month old with us (we’ll bring hearing protection, no worries).

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Katie, so there are ramps up into the stadium, but once there, it is stairs to the seating. However, there is plenty of handicap seating as well, so if you wanted to just wheel the stroller up the ramp and sit there, that would be okay too.

    • ATL Air Show says:

There are handicap seats all throughout the stadium, including companion seats, right up the short ramp at the entrance to the main seating area.

    • ATL Air Show says:

Yes, that’s fine! We just let everyone know that your camera bag (and all other bags) will be subject to search at the gate. Please bring any camera equipment that you need with you when you enter the gate, as readmission is not allowed.

  9. Brian Batson says:

We would like to bring a group of high school Air Force JROTC students. Is there a discounted priced for student groups or JROTC?

  10. Paul says:

We have a group of senior military retirees who are thinking about attending. Are there any military discounts?

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hi Paul, yes, Active Duty/Reserve military, veterans and guard can save 50% at the gate with discounted military grandstand pricing of $15 for adults and $8 for children 7-12 on up to four tickets per service member. To qualify for the discount, please present your military or veteran ID at the ticket window. In addition, active duty/reserve and guard attending in uniform will be admitted for free! Please thank them for their service for us!

  11. Kirk says:

What is the VIP/Reserved parking? Last year they
Didn’t know what it was and had us park in the General parking area

    • ATL Air Show says:

Hey Kirk, I’m so sorry to hear that you got poor directions from our team! The VIP parking is in the lot right in front of the speedway, with signs. There’s a special entrance that you take to get there and then show your VIP parking pass to the volunteers who let you in. You are correct that you should not have had to be in general parking, so hopefully this next year we can be sure to rectify that for you!

    • ATL Air Show says:

The Atlanta Air Show is October 12-13 – the show starts at noon and ends around 3:30 pm. All of this is set.
